Not only does this ensure continuity of product, but it enables ASI to trace every wheel of cheese from vat through processing and delivery.
ASI is one of the oldest, continuous importers of hard cheeses and this has given the company the ability to select the largest and strongest producer in each home country. ASI producers are well-respected in their native countries and have the economic viability to withstand any economic changes that may confront the industry.
Few, if any importers, can point to a partnership like ASI and Zanetti which has spanned 60 years; or SanCor, Conaprole and AgriExport which have lasted 25 years. And few, if any importers, can claim that their exclusively imported products own more than 50% market share and frequently much higher, some reaching as much as 80%.
